Metrotopia runs in the browser. No VR and no downloads is needed, just a laptop and a good Wi-Fi connection.  We know many of our guests have never been in a metaverse before. We will guide you through the easy onboarding steps. It's pretty much like visiting any website, except in 3D. You navigate using the keyboard and mouse, congregate, see and talk to other guests in a spatial environment.

Each event includes a live presentation in the Metrotopia metaverse auditorium followed by a tour of the exhibition 'Knowledge Transfer' on display for the Chicago Architecture Biennial. The space has an auditorium with a screen where speakers will share their presentations and speak live on camera with audience members during Q&A.
